About

About Learnaroos

We make learning apps and books that children ask for, and that parents are glad they asked for.

Our story

Learnaroos started in 2024 as a handful of browser games to teach small children how to use a mouse and a keyboard. Kids liked them, parents asked for more, and the games kept growing: counting, tracing, memory, logic, telling time.

Along the way we learned what matters. Characters that breathe and react beat static pictures with sound effects. A wrong answer should wiggle, not buzz. Praise should be a sticker on the screen, not a voice begging them to keep going. And anything about money belongs behind a grown-up gate.

Today the Learnaroos app holds 43 games across tracing, typing, math and brain worlds, with Pip the chameleon cheering from the corner. Two topic apps are in the works, and our first printed activity book, My First Little Drawings, takes the same step-by-step idea to paper.

What we believe

  • Fun first

Learning should never feel like work. Play is how small children learn, so every game is a toy before it is a lesson.

  • Safe and quiet

No ads, no tracking, no manipulation. Nothing on a server, nothing to leak. Praise is on screen, never a voice begging them to keep playing.

  • Growth over perfection

There is no failing in our games. A wrong answer wiggles and the child tries again. Levels climb to 100 so nobody tops out.

  • Pencil and screen

Tablets are good at some things and paper at others. Our books and apps are built to match, so children get both.

  • Parents in the loop

A free Activity Report and a Sunday summary. You should never have to pay to find out what your child learned.

  • Tested on real kids

Every game is played by children before it ships, and reworked when they get bored or confused.
